Language learning done right

This app is incredible especially being free. Ive started Spanish lessons and have progressed quickly and have had the language actually stick. To me, its much more effective than expensive language learning software. The app is well developed, has great user experience design and a wide array of useful features. The conversation bots are one of its greatest features as it gives users the opportunity to actually engage conversations. This is a winner if youre looking to learn a new language.

There are a ton of languages to choose from which sets it apart from most learning systems. I, personally, havent run into any bugs or errors in the app. I have noticed that they have set up a very user friendly reporting system if such a case were to occur. You cant go wrong with Duolingo as its free, well developed, well maintained and the instruction is top notch. They do operate from donations but dont beg for them. If you miss a use streak, the app keeps track of your consecutive use, then it will send an occasional alert asking to donate to restore the streak. Which I dont find annoying because theyre offering a fine app for free. The work they have done on this is exceptional and is worth paying for.
