Merci, Duolingo!

I was very happy to discover this app and have very much enjoyed using it. I had one year of French umpteen years ago; Duo has provided excellent review - and has quickly moved me forward. Its super! I would have given it 5 stars if I had not encountered a couple of glitches, one of which stopped my progress for days and days.
I do have a request. Would you identify the different dialects your speakers use? One is totally unfamiliar to me; it sounds like French with an Italian accent!
If I dont encounter any more glitches, I would like to change the 4 stars to 5, if I may. Merci et bonne nuit! Grambois
