I cant thank the developers enough for this deceptively simple and extraordinarily useful app! Downloaded it after reading a blurb somewhere, what did I have to lose? My ignorance, as it turned out.

Id learned a bit of Italian some years ago with some books & tapes (yeah, it was that long ago), but then abandoned the language when I returned home to the States. During a visit to Florence a few weeks ago, I started fooling with the app on my phone and got totally hooked. With its bite-size lessons, multiple ways of reinforcing vocab, grammar & pronunciation, Im already miles ahead of where I left off years ago. Now, whenever I have free time, Im on it.

Dont be put off by the cutsie graphics, they disguise the brilliant way Duo learns your weak spots and adapts the lessons accordingly. I didnt think Id ever learn another language, now I believe I can and will thanks to this terrific little app. Wow.
