Duolingo Learn Many Languages for Free App Reviews

I am using this app to introduce me to the French language. Unfortunately I am stuck in the household section right before I finish level. I cant progress any further. Please fix..

I wanted to learn Spanish for fun, and my friend showed me this app. Never has learning another language been as easy or fun. The best part is that it is completely free! I mean come on, pretty sweet. If you want to learn a language for free, this is the app to go to.

If you have the program with health you cannot practice as long as you want because 6 mistakes and you are locked out for 6 or 7 hours as far as moving on goes. My wife and I loaded the program on 2 different IPads within a short time of each other and I have (HATE) the health feature and she doesnt. As a result she can practice for an hour or more whereas I am sometimes locked out after 10 or 15 minutes due to 6 mistakes. It seems like a sneaky way to force people to buy health to use the program but in my world that NO longer makes it a free program. Way to ruin a good language program DuoLingo. Maybe enough people will complain about this scam and it will be removed. I have certainly stopped recommending to friends.

I enjoy learning Portuguese with this app. Thank you very much!

THE BEST APP EVER

I started using this app twenty three days ago, and Im having a ball learning Italian...it definitely gets more difficult, but the app stays fun, and is constantly giving you feedback that is helpful. I really love it!

Ive been at this program for 50 consecutive days. I am currently able to understand childrens cartoons in Spanish, if that helps show my progress. This program is very motivating and I highly encourage everyone to try it out. And its totally free!!

Quick and easy. I really feel like Im learning the language (practicing Irish right now). Only thing I need help with is pronunciation!!

The interactive nature of this app makes you use it without wasting your time and learn what you are supposed to learn. The fact that Im using it for two years shows its great though I may not be able to describe it properly.

Im learning fundamental Spanish. In a black street dude, that really needs to know this language. ????to the creators of these easy and fun lessons , to help me get a bad A_ _ Seniorita! Ok. And b the only dude in my crew that speak that real slang.

This app will give you a foundation to grow and learn to speak the language you want. There are many languages to choose from. Highly recommended

Excellent app! The whole family is using it. Great teaching method and easy to use. I love the messaging feature to learn conversational language. Really cant say enough about how much I like this app!

I have learned a lot of German from this app and I do find it very helpful. My one complaint is that sometimes it will just give you a wood and guts and you have to guess its meaning and it doesnt really teach you the words first, it just starts throwing words at you. I find the app Tiny Cards® to be a great help also and a very nice sister app to Duolingo®. Overall, pretty great app!

Kind of fun. It sometimes gives questions before ever teaching new words. It has you speak sentences but the recording is very off, punishing you even though you are right. It gets hard understanding the text to speech used in this app which can easily make you lose. The basic artwork and minimal interface looks nice. The game system which the whole app is based around is more annoying than fun since it makes you wait, pay or practice to try advancing.

This app is amazing, so easy to use, great bots, great format, mostly free! Not a scam! Its not like "oh yeah this app is free but you cant do anything without buying something" it has in app purchases but they arent necessary...

The app itself is really good but sometimes I experience bad lag or glitching

I am going to Germany for spring break. I needed a way to learn German. Then, I found Duolingo!
