For those who have always had trouble with foreign languages, or who think they cannot learn, or are bored... Rejoice! You CAN learn the basics of a new language quickly, you will be surprised at how easy and quick it is, and youll have fun!

Love the App. Here and there I think there could be some improvements (some bugs mean that often random words are read out, the vocabulary can be confusing when there is no article assigned and Id love to have a library with my vocabulary so I could look through it). But overall a nice app which I use most days

Im using the app to teach myself German. I love the way it goes from basics to the idioms of the German language. Learning phrases such as the straw that breaks the camels back or one hand washes the other. I feel like its an all encompassing learning experience. You have to learn to read, write and speak the language and there is really never any ending because you can always add new challenges or try another language. Really glad I found this app!

I do not give it 5 give this app 5 stars because of two reasons: 1. Although it does though a bit on verb conjugation,It doesnt go through the basics of verb conjugation (être & avoir (je tu il/elle vous nous ils/elles) ) 2. Voice recognition is not accurate, at least not for French. I tested it by pronouncing badly some sentences and it still gave me a pass. Otherwise this is a really great app for me as I am just looking for a means to practice my French.

So i cant update the app it starts to download but then goes back to it saying i need to update and i cant download it if I delete it and when i try to it says it downloading but then it wont

Great app, been helping me out with my language studies. I just have a request that the graph that displayed the weeks performance be put back in the app! I much preferred seeing how many lessons I completed per day as opposed to just seeing basically a check mark for the week with the orange circles. Please and thanks!

Love this program but unfortunately stopped working. Cant connect to Duolingo on my iPhone 4 since the last update.

Before the last update, some lessons were available offline, thats no longer the case. This offline support was the reason I came back to the app and used it regularly in my metro commute. Now itll fall back in a forgotten folder.

This app is great but i desperately want Japanese to be added for english speakers because it would be so helpful to me!

Its a good app, but I wish there were more language options. Specifically, learning Korean. Id love to learn Korean, but its not an option for English speaking users. :c

Use NSOperation to prevent sounds from leaking between flash cards. Its pretty annoying at the moment to hear sounds from a card Ive completed.

Can the graph be brought back? Its so nice to see if Im on track for the day. Is there a way to do the checkpoint tests after you have past them? Id like to do a refresh on groups of topics Ive done all at once.

Pls go back to before the latest update. I prefer to work on my own. I cannot see my progress now! Please change back
