Incredible

Wow, cant believe how easy to use and efficient this app is. I took French courses in elementary school and up to grade nine, so I had some background, but this app is really helping me recall what I had forgotten and expand on it. Give it a try!

Lost my streak with no explanation

Very annoying. Had a five day streak going and whilst using the app my streak suddenly disappear even though 24 hours did not pass. Very discouraging

What?!

Whenever I spell "You eat apples" its wrong but when it tells me the right answer that was the answer! Like What?!

Duolingo

What an amazing app. Ive been using this program to help me learn Spanish and I feel so much more confident. I was tired of being a light-skin Mexican woman who doesnt know any Spanish and thanks to Duolingo I am reaching my goal.

Love it, but wish for some tweaks

This app is great! It is better than any in-person language class I have ever taken. I would have given it four and a half stars if I could. There are some minor changes that could really help. 1) Possibly start off with absolute basics (alphabet) and pronunciations (phonetic spelling). Some languages have different letters in the alphabet and different pronunciations for the letters. It would really help understanding individual words (This is a problem I have noticed in in-person classes as well). 2) Have an option to slow down the recording when the narrator is saying a sentence or phrase. This would really help obtaining a proper pronunciation and understanding what word is which. When heard too fast, words sometimes sound alike but have completely different meanings. Otherwise this app is perfect.

Great app!

The French version has been very good for my language activation. This is a good primary tool for learning and a great tool to supplement other learning methods. Thanks!!!

Outstanding App!!!

Very user friendly.

health feature is not good

recently duolingo added a feature where you have lives. if you get something wrongness you lose one, and you have to do stuff to get them back. i think this feature should be removed so people can use it without limits.

Very helpful!

Daily reminder and flexibility in the time I can spend learning is very helpful. And its free!

Great

This is a great learning app for anyone interested in learning a foreign language. With over 10 languages, Duo Lingo guides you to becoming fluent in whatever language you are learning. ? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing

Omg this is so much fun!! I cant put it down!!

Great app!

I love Duolingo. I get to practice a new language daily, and it even sends me reminders. I also like competing against my coworkers. Love the chance to practice conversations

Easy to use

Im learning Spanish from the basics. I like that you can repeat exercises and there are extra practice quizzes.

Entertaining and useful

Very good app, user friendly, entertaining. I like it very much. Each lesson is only 5mn long so it is really easy to practice everyday. It is possible to practice offline too. The app goes back to refresh lessons learn previously so they are repeated until they are fully absorbed.

❤️ it

I love duolingo, Ive been using it for years to learn french and recently started casual Italian. The only thing is that my % fluency in French is going down as I do more lessons....bug?

Great ap

In general I really like the app. The range vocabulary is very good and the repetition really helps build your knowledge. My only complaint would be 1) The percent fluet is very random and frankly inaccurate and 2) The app does not properly deal with changes in time zones. When I am traveling, I often lose my streak. Why cant the app consider the time on your phone rather than a "Home" time??

Great app!

There are some parts that I wish could be better, but overall I find this an awesome app for learning vocabulary and the proper way to put sentences together. I took 6 years of French a while back and decided to see how much I remembered and the app had enough information to put me at a level that is challenging enough for me. I am also using it to learn Spanish!

Great app

Im using Duolingo to review and improve my Portuguese. I really like how the app moves progressively through the sections, introducing new vocabulary gradually through context. I am increasing my vocabulary effortlessly. Id like to learn Korean as well, but that doesnt seem to be an option yet. I want to see how this works with a totally unfamiliar language and alphabet.

Tres bona

Im learning Esperanto, and its a great resource for it!

Its a great option to learn new languages.

I think this app is great for learning relatively simple languages like Spanish and Italian. German has been the language of choice for me and I love it. Planning a trip there soon.
