Duolingo Learn Many Languages for Free App Reviews

I like the app a lot but the only problem for me is its missing Japanese

Duolingo is a well-designed app that lends itself to short spans of time which is kind of the smart phone norm. I feel like Im learning a lot without having to spend hours completing long lessons on Rosetta Stone, and I feel like I use smaller bits of time better using this app, which often feels like a game, than I would playing on Facebook.

This app is wonderful

They just need to add Tagalog. I want learn to speak tagalog also.

I love this app. Its free and easy to use :) Im glad they have Ukrainian as an option, because its hard to find good apps for learning this language.

This gets 5 stars because it does what its designed to do incredibly well. Its super easy to pull out the app while waiting in line or something and chip away a little more at your target language. With the said, it cant be your only tool in your arsenal, especially since things like grammar are implied in its various scenarios, but not explicitly explained. This is NOT a problem with the app. This statement is more about realistic expectations.

Its a great language learning app. It has helped me with German and Im some what fluent but I now want to start to learn Korean with this app but it doesnt have it. I really wish you guys at Duolingo could add Korean and other Asian languages to the list of languages we can learn

In just a week of daily (insane goal) use I have been able to pick up more words than an entire semester is Spanish class back in school. Im grateful for this app, thank you Duolingo for bringing it to us free.

Relearning French. Great app for simple conversation. Could use more options for getting extra points to continue learning.

Ive been using it for almost 6 months trying to learn French. I have to say that it is a very useful app. I find myself being able to read (most of) the French side on stuff at the grocery store or on things I have at home. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone wanting to learn another language.

I love this app. Learning Spanish has been great. I wish all the languages on Duolingo were the same way.

I recommend this app to anyone/everyone. Its excellent, AND its free. You can set it up for various languages and effortlessly switch back and forth whenever. Started using it to review Spanish, and now Im also learning French for the first time. Words are constantly spoken for the user to learn pronunciation; different speakers & different recordings allow subtle variations so you can really learn it well. Pictures, audio, text-- many different modes of learning. TRY IT!!!

Im not 100% sure the process it uses to teach languages works for all personality types, but Ive found it effective myself and the app is stable. Recommended for new languages as well as brushing up.

This app is excellent for start learning a new language very well designed I dont think this replaces a proper language course but makes a very friendly way to know the basics, I am so happy for this kind of project thanks duolingo team
