Duolingo Learn Many Languages for Free App Reviews

The perfect app for learning a new language, I wish I had this when I had Spanish classes in high school! Cute visuals and a way that really helps you remember what you do with daily incentive along the way, definitely recommend!

Im learning Portuguese since I have Brazilian friends and this is helping me so much!!!! It teaches you a full language step by step, and you can even chat with Bots to have real conversations!!!!

Great app. Very easy, and fun to use. Currently learning German with it. The app makes it so simple!

Whether this is as effective as a private tutor, I cannot say, but with a modest commitment, it teaches substantial vocabulary. I do not understand what it wants the user to speak, but when it asks, nothing I say in either language seems to satisfy the program. It seems pointless.

Im remembering better Spanish with this app, but it has problems. I logged in today and it says Ive broken my 11-day streak. I signed in yesterday afternoon, and completed the course to the point where it said "met goal for today", how has my streak been broken? Ive paid $2.99 to repair the streak on two occasions. I wont do it for this time. Also, the pronounced words are often delayed or skipped all together, and Im on a seriously strong network!

Friendly way to learn!

I have a friend in Finland who speaks English, although I want to go visit her and I cant speak any Finnish at all! I would greatly appreciate it if you added Finnish to the other various languages you have on here so I can learn and communicate with her :) this app is amazing: fun and super effective!!! Please consider adding Finnish! Thank you!

Really like on iPhone you can practice skills and it combines lessens to freshen you up, amazing app

Disclaimer: I am only 6 days into this program. So far this app has been a fun and interesting way to learn Spanish. Commercial content is minimal and not obnoxious.

It is a very good starting point to be able to communicate by knowing words; have completed 3 levels and the grammar is still weak; learning words has helped me a lot.

I love this app, but there is currently a glitch that will not allow me to progress in any lessons. If I try to do a practice lesson, it gets stuck grading after about the second question and I have to close the app out. And after doing a different lesson, it didnt count it as finished and wouldnt let me go past what I had just done. Please fix so I can continue!

Super helpful in learning a language and youre actually translating the internet as you do it!
