Amazing. 100/100.

This is a life changing app. Its amazing. Its a free language at NO costs. Its accurate and really helps you.

Awesome

Fun way to learn. Just a little every day and you can be fluent in no time! Best part is that is free.

Very happy

I dont usually review it this app is wonderful and is really helping me with my Español!

Works Great!

This app has really helped improve my fluency in German. It works really well, but it would be nice if some more languages (like Japanese hint hint) were added. Overall, great app!

Awesome

There are many things I love about this app. My favorite is the variety is the variety of lesson structure. I am learning how to read, write, and say the word in Español. Awesome!

duolingo

This is a fabulous app!

Hebrew

I like the application, but for the Hebrew language there are sections that require writing in Hebrew, but the application doesnt have that function. Because of this it takes me longer to complete sections and I cant test out of lessons.

Percent fluent needs to be visible

I love the app but it has one flaw: there is no where to see how fluent you are in a language. I think the percent fluency should be next to the day streak symbol. Please make the percent fluent visible!

Great app, wish it had Latin!

This app is great if you want to learn Spanish, French, Italian, and other basic languages. But I really wish that it had Latin! Im in my second semester of year one in Latin and it would be a big help if you can add that language since Im not getting a good understanding of it. Latin is one of the many languages to be learning today and colleges love it! It would be a great help if the team could add it in!! Many thanks!

Inaccurate

I have been taking French immersion for over 6 years and it told me that I was 28 percent fluent. It gives me incredibly easy lessons as it thinks that I am a beginner. If you want to practice your skills on a language this is not the app you should use.

Very poor app

The app doesnt let you skip to a more advanced level, I am currently enrolled in AP Spanish at my school and the most advanced place it would put me was lower intermediate!

Best online Spanish course by far

This is by far the best and most complete online Spanish course that Ive tried and that Ive tried four of them and completed one of them completely and Im like halfway through one of the other ones and dulingo is way better than any of the other ones Ive tried. and yes this is a real person, not a review that the company did.

Great so far!

Im learning a lot! Im currently 2% fluent in another language!

Very effective!

Good app

Its great!

The best one to learn a language that Ive tested

Amazing

Easy and great way to learn new languages

Best App to learn languages

Pretty good app and really helpfull??

Great way to learn

Such a great app for learning languages. Changes up the way they test you so you dont get bored, well organized, and fun.

Studying languages in college? USE THIS FIRST.

If I could give this app 7 or 8 stars I would. Ive been using Duolingo since 2013, when I was a junior in undergrad. My college didnt offer many of the languages I wanted to study, so I was trying to learn Turkish and Russian, as well as French (which I didnt have time to take formally) on my own and via practice with friends. I continued doing Duolingo French for a few years and can now read academic texts with little difficulty, despite having no formal experience studying the language. But thats not what I want to tell you about. Heres the important part: Duolingo Turkish came out in the spring of 2015, the year I graduated and began grad school at UT-Austin. Over spring and summer breaks of that year, I completed the Duolingo Turkish course. This course put me at such a high level that when I took my language exam at UT, I tested into the second-year course, despite having no formal experience. My ability to test into a Turkish class this way gave me the necessary coursework to apply for (and receive) a FLAS Fellowship to Istanbul in the summer of 2016. While I was in Istanbul, I also completed the Russian course that came out late 2015, which allowed me to reach a high enough level of proficiency that I am now auditing a second-year, second-semester Russian course at UT. I couldnt have done any of that without Duolingo, and I owe the green owl a major debt of gratitude. So if you want to study a language in college and Duolingo has it, USE DUOLINGO FIRST! Itll help immensely in developing necessary grammar structures for getting into higher classes so you can worry less about complicated grammar and focus more on confident speaking skills (since, admittedly, that is one of Duolingos biggest weaknesses). Itll also help for applying to scholarships, since itll show people that youre independently motivated to learn the languages. Take it from me--I got FLAS last year, and Im going to Tajikistan on CLS this summer. In conclusion, why are you still reading this? Start using Duolingo right now if you havent already! You wont regret it!

Cant be Beat

Duolingo is one of those things that really makes you grateful to live in the age of technology. Its powerful, easy, and free. I really cant say enough good things about this app. Theres nothing else like it.
