Duolingo is easy to use, and they keep updating it with new features (like the chat bots). Go ahead and give it a try.

I love it. I do it when I want to and its something thats easy to do very quickly when you have a few moments in a day to kill. This is a new way to educate people on new subjects.

Easy and very helpful

Good easy lessons. Able to study small "chunks" of the program. You need to study and use what you learn. It better if you run the app daily and recap some of the old lessons. Lets see how much more are in these lessons.

This is really great app an d everything, but the new "heart" feature is really annoying. I know you have to do a lesson to regain only 1, but waiting 5+ hours for another! Rather than that its a good app. I feel kinda upset for this new update. The gems are cool but hard to get.

It is a good tool to practice Spanish on the streetcar while commuting to work.

DuoLingo is great and has the right amount of oral, written and grammar to get one going.

Really happy with my French language progress with his app. It is easy to use and has driven me to a learning process that I can see measurable progress on a daily basis.

Great tool for daily practice, especially in the first months of learning experience; easy to use during 10 min break on a subway or in a waiting line. Daily remainders help me not to forget about practice. Love it!

Dont work at iPhone 6s+ in English-Russian

This app is excellent. It is a methodical process that builds on the previous lessons. I found my comprehension has increased in short period of time.

The app offers us a great opportunity to learn other languages! Its effective because we practice by repetition. And we can adjust the learning to our schedule.

I like that it lets me control the learning pace. The daily reminders when I fall behind is a nice touch. Ive been pretty consistent with it so far. Finally I like that the strength of the completed sections drops to get you to refresh your basics especially when your starting out. One thing Id like to see is the option to increase the audio speed to help with listening to people who speak quickly i.e. Spanish speakers.

Im just a few lessons in and Im really enjoying it thus far. I find the exercises really engaging and fun.

This seems to be good app overall as it does provide a variety of topics in which to practice within a particular language. However, when working with the creation of sentences from a word bank, it tells you which were goes first. It also does not make specific situations clear to help identify the difference between similar words. Finally, and the biggest concern I have with this app, is that it is very restrictive when it comes to the bot conversations. Having already learned Spanish and working to practice and improve at a level that is fitting, I will often try to use other vocabulary that is not permitted even though it is on subject. It would be very beneficial if there were people on the other side of this that would have real conversations so that those types of conversation are allowed.

I was skeptical about duolingo because its free, but I decided to give it a try- and Im so glad I did! Im currently brushing up on the 4 years of French I took like 6 years ago, so I do have experience, but the app is teaching me as well. Its easy to use, pleasing interface, and great for accountability. Thanks so much for this app!
