Duolingo Learn Many Languages for Free App Reviews

This is an amazing app. This is how it should be—FREE—it shouldnt cost anything to learn how to communicate with the rest of the world!

I was struggling with Rosetta Stone and thought perhaps I was not destined to learn a new language. Duolingo is the answer I needed. Very intuitive.

Im having fun and learning Spanish, what more do you need.

Love it! Entire family (including 8 & 12 year olds) using it to prepare for trip abroad thus summer. Fun!

Please add that I wanna watch anime without subs and go to Japan ??

Learning (or more often re-learning) Spanish is tricky...this is a wonderful app that allows you to be able to say so much. And its free!

Incorporates multiple learning methods in a novel, fun approach.

My kids saw me using this to learn and begged me to download it for them too. Its fun and well designed.

Spanish course is good, probably the best app to learn Spanish on. I rate it 5/5. This course makes learning Spanish fun and easy. Russian course is good, but could use a couple improvements. I rate it 4/5. Needs phonetic sounds typed out when learning alphabet and phrases. Also needs to have an option to slow down the pronunciation. Overall great app, cant complaint about something that is free!

This app is easy to use. I wish there was a conjugate guide, but after a while, you begin to see the pattern.

Im using it to augment my foreign language classes. Very helpful as a daily refresher. Better than flash cards.

I love learning languages on my own. Never thought Duolingo would make learning Russian this easy. The future is here! Although I still have no jet pack ?

Good app however some things are lacking

Im trying to learn more Spanish other than taking a Spanish class, and I thought this app might be it, until it gives you a sentence to repeat but in Spanish. I then repeat it correctly, and clear, and it just says I got it wrong and shows the answer that I literally says. So overall the app is alright.

This app is great you can learn so many languages all at your own pace.

My dad is a language buff and he recommended the app to me. I love it and Im definitely learning. In just a few weeks (about 20 sessions) I feel more comfortable speaking Spanish with my kids immersion preschool teachers. I wish there was an Eng>Spanish version for pre-literate kids. My 5yr old would love to learn that way. Sometimes she sits with me while I study.
