Duolingo Learn Many Languages for Free App Reviews

I would give this app five stars except for the fact that I encounter a weird heath error from time to time, where if I run out of health, the app thinks I have no more health even after 24 hours. Ive had to jump over hurdles to fix this! Also, I hear the android version doesnt even have a health meter at all - and I think Id much rather not be scared of mistyping all the time! Please get rid of the health bar

I would LOVE it if you added Japanese with Hiranga

The app is missing a very important feature. I cannot read the "tips and notes" (as in the web version), which means, that I dont really know what Im doing unless I already know the language. Other than that, the app is very nice, good work developers&designers ?

Remove health bar. app is amazing though

I haven tried the app version. Its so cool and fun to use this. Make language learning like playing video games. But there is one thing They really need to fix it! Sometimes it loses data. acting like I havent done the lesson . Its like losing memories. So I have to do the same lesson again and again. One time I have to do the same lesson seven times, because the app acting like I havent done it. Its very frustrating. Besides this, its a really awesome application! I will enjoy using it to Learn multiple languages :)

I thought that this was going to be another language app that would be free and then youd have to pay to learn your desired language. Duolingo is actually completely free and its has a variety of languages to chose from. Ive learned a good amount of French in just two days. Duolingo is more than just a 10/10 app and has definitely earned the 5-star rating.

Go read the story of CAPTCHA or search for the Ted talk. This should be enough to inspire you to use this app, and to give you the confidence that it will help you learn whatever language you want to learn. Or try telling a friend about it, and check in with them a couple of months later. Theyll be so happy you recommended it, and convince you to use it in the process.

Very easy to use and learn. Its so much better that roseta stone and without paying thousands of money for lesson packages

I love the app, i am currently learning German. But as i reach the end another language i wanted to learn is Japanese but it is not available. It would be awesome to increase the amount of languages you have on your app and there would be expanded possibilities for all of your users. Thank You

Ciao! Seems to actually work, I know so much more Italian than I did just a few days ago. It probably helps that I have had a few years of Spanish classes, and the languages are very similar structurally. It would be much harder if I didnt know what to expect regarding verb endings, pronouns, etc. and had to figure the rules out on my own. I think the app would benefit from explaining the grammatical rules before delving in an making you find the patterns on your own. All said, it has greatly exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it! Arrivaderci!

I am learning German, and I am unable to put Umlauds on the words when I have to type in German, and it considers it wrong. Am I missing something, or are the accents/Umlauds available and I just dont see them?

This app is very addictive and genuinely useful for learning a language. My only problem with it is that I dont have access to the grammatical rules through the app. I have to go to Duolingos website in order to read about grammar.

Love this! However Im not sure why there has to be the health feature. I want to keep playing but I can only get through one round and then I have to wait for hours to play. Maybe it has something to do with ads but hopefully this can be changed at some point!

Love it! Its a fun and enjoyable language-learning experience. Sure, there may be others out there that might be more beneficial or intensive (none come to mind at the moment, though), but Duolingo is definitely a great way to learn a new language!
