Duolingo Learn Many Languages for Free App Reviews

Please add more languages like Serbian. This app is very useful and I would like to learn Serbian but you dont have it? PLEASE ADD MORE LANGUAGES!! Great app tho

As a stay at home Dad I dont often have time to sit quietly for long periods to practice my French. Duolingo has made it quick and easy to practice my French in my quiet moments, and more importantly I feel like Im learning! Cest bonne!

Its a very good app, bit that would be great if we could talk with some native speakers, so we can improve. And also there is not enough languages, for example I want to learn Basque but there is not.

This is by far the best way to learn a language by apps or websites I have learned many worlds many languages if you were trying to learn language get this app

Best language app out there

I really enjoy the app but I get frustrated when I get a lot of wrongs on voice because of my deep voice. The other thing I wish is more words for recognition and less vowels, such as past, present, future. Ive been at it a long time and Ill admit Im not that good with languages but would sooner learn more words to at least recognize in a conversation that being able to properly carry a conversation! Thanks!

I love this game. The App works very well, has some seasonal fun times and is always challenging. I love the way it has Chumbots who will play with me when no one else is around. I totally recommend this game. Also they are good at answering my silly questions.

Great little app for learning and practicing another language!!

I absolutely love this app! This app makes learning a new language easy and fun! Definitely will be recommending duolingo to anyone I know who is trying to learn a new language!

Overall, love the app. I like the variety of topics and learning a new language. Would love to have features like a night owl option as I usually practice before bed but if I do it after midnight, I lose my streak even if Im on the same day. It would be great if the day could start at 3 am or something of the sort. Additionally, it would be great to have more explanations, especially on some of the grammar and syntax thats used because there are lots of times where Im just guessing. But overall, its a great app :)

They decided to add a system to make more money, the heart system. Im getting so fed up with this one little typo or I pick the wrong version of a word and bam 4 hours until my next heart and I either pay or earn the hearts which takes a very long time and takes away from learning a language because instead of learning the language and immersing yourself in the culture you stuck playing and playing to get more hearts or buying the very overpriced gems, overall if they dont change this Im done with duolingo.

Ive had the app for a year or so now, maybe longer. Always was an enjoyable way to start learning a new language, and even more so with the new updates making it easier to stay refreshed on languages with the chat feature. Realistic and easy goals with reminders to help you stay on track with achieving those daily goals. Highly recommend

I really enjoy using this, my French teacher used this quite often too.. The best part is its free. Win,win!!

This new update with the health thing is the worst thing youve ever done to the app. I used to spend hours a day on Duolingo but now I cant because I will run out of health because I made a typo and got the answer wrong on accident. The only way to refill my health is to use lingots which I have to buy with real money. Im trying to learn Spanish quickly since Im going to Spain in two months but this is slowing me down big time. Please fix.

Ive enjoyed the evolution of this app over the years and am a huge fan. This is the best language learning app available, my Spanish and German are now at an expert level. My only wish was that they offered Maori. Other than that - amazing app.

I dont know how you do it. I am so grateful to have such a great app foe free. The bot conversations are really impressive and helpful. Thank you so much! Perhaps adding some more conversation bots when you want them(they only some out once in a while) would be nice. Overall, great app. Tony

Why, why make a person use or get Health to continue? It is discouraging me from using this app and otherwise I liked it. I dont like being penalized because my iPad doesnt insert accents either.

Good but it would be better if ther was chinese for french speaker
